Delivery Policy

Orders of in stock items will be delivered by DPD within 2-3 working days of order being received. (Please see Terms and Conditions under ORDERS AND CONFIRMATION).

Orders to remote and offshore areas are 2 - 3 working days

You will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming delivery date and an update from DPD on the day of delivery.

Please advise on checkout where courier can leave your parcel if you will not be at home to sign for delivery e.g. with neighbour or in shed/garage etc or supply an alternative address.

Standard delivery will be by DPD or UPS Courier Service. We have no control over UPS or DPD delivery times, schedules or costs.

Ironmongery Plus will not be held liable for any costs involved due to courier or stock delays.

Unsuccessful Delivery Attempt

If delivery is attempted but no one is available to take delivery of the parcel, DPD will leave a card. Please call the local depot number on the card to re-arrange delivery within 5 Working Days. After this time has lapsed if no contact has been made by the customer, DPD are bound to send the parcel back to Ironmongery Plus. If the parcel is to be re-delivered back to the customer from Ironmongery Plus, this will incur a delivery charge of £11.90 per parcel to cover the return cost and re-delivery cost.

Next Day Delivery Option

We offer a next day delivery option at checkout at a cost of £9.95. Only orders placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday are eligible for the next day delivery option. 

On processing your order, we will advise if all items are in stock for same day despatch.

Back Orders/ Out of Stock Items

After placing your order, if an item is out of stock at the Manufacturer, we will advise by telephone or email asap. We have no control over Manufacturers stock levels or restock timescales and due to the the scale and turnover of items at our suppliers, it is impossible for us to show every out of stock item on our website. Orders containing a back order will be held until all items are in stock. If the customer wants a part order despatched there would be a carriage charge of £6.95

Back orders will be despatched automatically to the Customer as soon as stock is available. Please contact us asap if you no longer require the back order items. We have no control over back order restock dates, stock may arrive sooner or later than the approximate dates we advise.

Please notify us by email if a back order is no longer required and we will process a full refund for the back ordered item.

Customers MUST advise us of any change of address if we are holding an order for you. Ironmongery Plus will despatch automatically to Customers address held on file. We will not be held responsible for orders sent to an address from which the Customer has moved or relocated from.

PLEASE CHECK ALL GOODS CAREFULLY ON RECEIPT. Customer must notify us of any missing items, incorrect items or missing fixings asap within 7 days. Please do not fit any items with visible faults as once fitted we cannot refund or replace.

Ironmongery Plus ship to the UK only.

Due to new Brexit export laws, we no longer ship to Ireland, Europe or rest of the World.
