Band & Hook Hinges

Band and hook hinges consist of two parts: the band, which is attached to the door or gate, and the hook, which is attached to the frame or post.

The band is a flat, elongated piece of metal with holes for screws or bolts. It is attached to the door or gate using screws or bolts, and it rotates on a pin that is fixed to the hook.

The hook is a U-shaped piece of metal that is attached to the frame or post using screws or bolts. The pin that the band rotates on is fixed to the hook, allowing the door or gate to swing open and closed.

Band and hook hinges are commonly used in outdoor settings, such as on gates, barn doors, and shed doors, because they are strong and durable. They are also relatively simple to install and maintain.
