Returns Policy

We cannot accept return of any item which has been fitted unless faulty. We only accept return of unused goods.

Return postage costs are the customers' responsibility.

Please notify us by email to info@ironmongeryplus.co.uk of intent to return any unused goods with 14 days of receipt of your order. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS IF WE ARE NOTIFIED OUTWITH THIS 14 DAY PERIOD. You then have a further 14 days to return the items. We do not offer exchanges. Please see Consumer Contracts Regulations below. Please email us with the return information, the order number, which items you are returning and reason for return. We will send you a Returns Note by email, please print the form, fill in the information required and place inside the parcel to be returned. We will not accept returns without this document. We do not accept returns outwith 28 days of receipt of goods.

Any goods offered on clearance price are non returnable, this information will be clearly stated on the Order Confirmation.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations gives you the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance and starts when you receive the goods and lasts for 14 days. you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Goods must be returned unused in original boxes or packaging with all fixings included.

Please pack goods being returned carefully and securely as any returns which are damaged, have parts missing including screws or have damaged packaging will not be refunded as they are deemed unsuitable for re-sale. Please do not return items by inner box only, any inner boxes damaged by tape, labels or sticker or which have Code Labelling damaged or removed are deemed as unsuitable for Re-Sale and will not be refunded.

Please adhere to this condition as some customers think its ok to use inner box only to return and are unhappy when we can't refund under these circumstances. We cannot re sell items with damaged packaging and the Manufacturer will also not accept retunrs from us with damaged packaging.

We advise using an insured method of return. Please use a recorded delivery or courier method of return to receive a signature at this end. Premier Door Handles is not liable for return carriage cost or non receipt of returned goods.

We can organise a Shop Return through DPD for parcels under 18kg the cost for this service is £8.50, please call us for this option.

Returned goods will be checked on receipt and we will refund the value of the goods less any carriage charges, back to your credit/debit card through either Sagepay or Paypal within 14 days of receipt of returned goods.

We do not offer exchanges, please return any unwanted, unused goods as above and place a new order for any further goods required.

Special orders i.e goods manufactured especially for a customer, are non returnable and non refundable.

Faulty Goods.

Please notify us of any items which have visible fault, mechanical fault, missing items, incorrect items or missing fixings within 7 days by email. We will ask you to supply images or a video of the faulty goods for inspection. Goods with a fault in the finish MUST NOT be fitted before reporting the fault issue to us.

Any goods received incorrectly by the customer must not be used or fitted, or they will be deemed non returnable as they will be unfit for resale.

When we can confirm the fault, we will arrange repair, replacement or refund.

Please do not return faulty goods to Ironmongery Plus as we will arrange collection and replacement asap.

If you have a item missing please advise asap,we will check our stock levels and weight of parcel despatched to verify the shortage.

Any refund due will be credited back to your credit/debit card within 14 days of receipt of return of faulty goods.

Our liability in the case of claims is limited to the sum paid for the goods. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.
