Transom Door Closers
We supply transom door closers from the popular Axim door closer range, as well as from Alpro and Adams Rite.
Transom door closers are mounted in the transom above a door. The transom is the horizontal beam at the top of the door frame. This type of door closer is often used on aluminum storefront doors, glass doors, and other types of commercial doors, where a sleek and modern appearance is desired, as the closer mechanism is hidden within the transom frame.
They offer adjustable features for closing speed, closing force, and backcheck. These adjustments allow for customization based on the weight and size of the door, as well as the specific requirements of the environment. In addition, they can be either single action or double action, depending on the application and the type of door. Single action allows operation in only one direction, and double action allows operation in both directions.
