Hooklocks

A mortice hook lock is a type of door lock that is commonly used on timber doors, particularly in commercial and industrial settings. It is typically installed within a mortice cut into the edge of the door and consists of a lock body with a hooked bolt that extends into the door frame.

The hooked bolt is designed to provide a high level of security, as it engages deeply into the door frame, making it difficult to force the door open.

Mortice hook locks are often used in conjunction with other types of locks, such as deadbolts or latch bolts, to provide additional security. They are commonly found on fire exit doors and other doors that require a high level of security.
